HUNT SCHEDULE AND PRICE LIST

KODIAK

 

BROWN BEAR

Brown Bear may be hunted every spring and every fall on Kodiak Island.  The SPRING Bear season runs April 1 to May 15 and the FALL season runs October 25 to November 30. 

 

   1 hunter - 1 guide for a 15-day hunt (please contact us for pricing)

 

You must submit a Brown Bear permit application along with a guide client agreement by December 6 to be eligible for the following year spring hunt.  You must submit a Brown Bear permit application along with a guide client agreement by May 31 to be eligible to hunt for Bear in the fall of that year.  I will provide you with these documents and other information to complete this process.

  

 

MOUNTAIN GOAT

Mountain Goat may be hunted every fall.  The season runs August 20 to October 25.

SITKA BLACK TAIL DEER

Sitka Deer may be hunted every fall.  The season runs August 1 to December 31.  We do not hunt Deer after November 22.

 

Currently, a nonresident hunter may take one buck August 1 to September 30.  October 1 to November 22 an additional Deer may be taken by arrangement with me.  Normally, hunters take one buck.

 *  Deer may be hunted with Brown Bear and Goat as an additional species (please contact us for pricing)

 

AIR CHARTER FEE round trip to and from main camp is the responsibility of the hunter.  This fee is approximately $850 per hunter and includes shipping of your antlers, capes, hides and skull to Kodiak where it is forwarded freight collect to an expediter in Anchorage.

 

FEDERAL LAND USE FEE You will be hunting in the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge where a land use fee of $16.70 per client use day for Brown Bear and $5.60 per client use day for Deer and Goat will be assessed at the end of your hunt. Our hunters also purchase a 2-year subscription to the Nonresident Hunter Preservation Fund which is paid as part of your deposit.
