HUNT SCHEDULE AND PRICE LIST

ALASKA PENINSULA

MOOSE

Moose season runs September 5 to 15 in the Becharof National Wildlife Refuge area and September 10 to 20 in the Alaska Peninsula Wildlife Refuge / Aniakchak National Preserve area.  Because of good habitat and extra effort on our part, my hunters consistently take Moose in the 55 to 70 inch range with a few going even larger.  Few antlered game in the world can match the size and beauty of the Alaska Yukon Moose.

In odd numbered years (09, 11, 13) there is a FALL Bear season, which runs October 1 to 21.  There are two ten-day hunts available: October 1 to 10 and October 11 to 21.  There is no advantage hunting the first or second half of the season.  Both hunts offer the same opportunity to take trophy class Brown Bear.

In even numbered years (10, 12, 14) there is a SPRING Bear season, which runs May 10 to May 25.  There are two eight-day hunts available: May 10 to 17 and May 18 to 25.  Remember, in the spring there are 18 to 20 hours of working daylight.  Both hunts offer the same opportunity to take a trophy class Brown Bear.
